Research Topic

Characterisation of Ge-As-Se Chalcogenide glasses for application in photonic devices. This includes:
  • bulk compositions: As-Se, As-S and Ge-As-Se
  • determining linear and nonlinear optical parameters such as refractive indices, losses and bandgap
  • Thin film processing
  • Thin film characterisation
